Fabricator and fitter, platework

JEBCO Industries Inc. is situated in Barrie, ON and is hiring a Fabricator and fitter, platework to join the team. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Shift timings include: Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must determine materials required.
• The candidate must interpret engineering drawings and instructions to plan methods and sequences of operation.
• The candidate must lay out reference points and patterns.
• The candidate must study engineering drawings and blueprints.
• The candidate must assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures.
• The candidate must weld or bolt sections together according to specifications.
• The candidate must set up and operate heavy-duty metal-working machines.
• The candidate must construct patterns and templates.
• The candidate must install fabricated components in final product.
• The candidate must rig, hoist, and move materials to storage areas or within the worksite.
