Excavator operator

Sweeps Pavement Markings Ltd ( Salmon River, NS) is currently looking for a skilled Excavator operator. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Position status: Seasonal employment or Full time. Work schedule: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate heavy equipment.
• The candidate must clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks.
• The candidate must complete onboard and other logs.
• The candidate must conduct pre-operational checks on equipment.
• The candidate must secure special attachments to equipment.
• The candidate must perform minor repairs to equipment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
• The candidate's relocation costs should not be covered by the employer; if the company does not provide a relocation package, you may request an advance on your earnings to cover some of your moving expenses.
