Excavation labourer

Headwater Management Ltd is situated in North Vancouver, BC and is hiring a Excavation labourer to join the team. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, Overtime available shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must load, unload, and transport construction materials.
• The candidate must perform pre-operational inspections.
• The candidate must clean and lubricate cranes.
• The candidate must clean and pile salvaged materials.
• The candidate must perform routine maintenance work.
• The candidate must clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
• The candidate must remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
• The candidate must tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
• The candidate must direct traffic at or near construction sites.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• No experience required. The employer will provide training to the selected candidate.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
