RCS Membrane in Edmonton, AB is seeking a self-motivated Estimator, construction. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. The schedule involves Early morning, Morning, Day, Flexible hours, To be determined shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs.
• The candidate must prepare pre-qualification submissions to present to clients.
• The candidate must read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
• The candidate must prepare master format estimates (Class A).
• The candidate must prepare elemental format estimates (Classes B, C, D).
• The candidate must operate CADD and other computer software systems.
• The candidate must prepare estimates for general expenses and overheads.
• The candidate must prepare and maintain a directory of supplies and trade contractors.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade or equivalent experience.
• The ideal candidate must have more than 5 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must have excellent written communication skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
