Équipements Nordiques is situated in Schefferville, QC and is hiring a Equipment operator, heavy-duty to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. The schedule involves Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate heavy equipment.
• The candidate must read blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
• The candidate must clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks.
• The candidate must measure distance, volume, length, and weight.
• The candidate must understand the purpose and proper use of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
• The candidate must conduct pre-operational checks on equipment.
• The candidate must secure special attachments to equipment.
• The candidate must operate two-way radios and other communication equipment.
• The candidate must perform minor repairs to equipment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• Equivalent experience is acceptable.
