BKL Consultants Ltd. is situated in Burnaby, BC and is hiring a Engineering manager to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Work schedule: Flexible hours, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must assign engineering projects to engineers or technical workers.
• The candidate must consult with clients to determine project needs.
• The candidate must coordinate work activities to ensure projects meet deadlines and budgets.
• The candidate must evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• The candidate must plan and control budget and expenditures.
• The candidate must provide detailed information and guidance to clients on project analysis and design.
• The candidate must review engineering projects to approve or recommend changes.
• The candidate must establish and implement policies and procedures for engineering work.
• The candidate must hire, train, direct, and motivate staff.
• The candidate must evaluate technical designs and engineering work.
• The candidate must oversee the analysis of data and information.
• The candidate must oversee the preparation of reports.
• The candidate must advise senior management.
• The candidate must manage contracts.
• The candidate must develop risk management plans.
• The candidate must lead and instruct groups.
• The candidate must conduct performance reviews.
