ALUGARD LTD is situated in Mississauga, ON and is hiring a Engineering design and drafting technologist to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Morning, Day shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare engineering designs and drawings.
• The candidate must read blueprints to determine work requirements.
• The candidate must supervise drafting personnel.
• The candidate must train new drafting personnel.
• The candidate must develop and prepare design sketches.
• The candidate must prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates.
• The candidate must prepare contracts and tenders.
• The candidate must write specifications.
• The candidate must estimate costs and materials.
• The candidate must complete documentation packages and drawing sets.
• The candidate must examine drawings for conformity and errors.
• The candidate must consult with clients, engineers, or production specialists to establish product requirements.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must have excellent written communication skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
