Element Elevators Inc is situated in Richmond Hill, ON and is hiring a Elevator mechanic to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. The schedule involves Day shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must read blueprints to determine work requirements.
• The candidate must instruct apprentices.
• The candidate must maintain log books detailing repairs and checks performed.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Site Environment

• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must be able to work at heights.
• The candidate will be required to work in confined spaces.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a service environment, performing job duties within the setting, social interactions, and physical conditions required by the role.
• The candidate should be involved in the maintenance, repair, and maintenance of machines, mechanical equipment, and buildings.
• The candidate must focus on repair work, restoring damaged, deteriorated, or broken items to good condition.
