Elementary school teacher

IQRA Islamic School ( Surrey, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Elementary school teacher. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position.

Job Description

• The candidate must discuss results and students’ progress with students, parents and school officials.
• The candidate must evaluate and document students’ progress.
• The candidate must participate in staff meetings.
• The candidate must provide tutoring assistance.
• The candidate must assign and correct homework.
• The candidate must develop course content.
• The candidate must lead students in activities that promote physical, mental and social development and school readiness.
• The candidate must prepare subject material in accordance with an approved curriculum.
• The candidate must prepare, administer and correct tests.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree.
• A candidate with experience is an asset.
