Drywall installer

Desh Malwa Constructing Ltd in Langford, BC is seeking a self-motivated Drywall installer. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Required shifts: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints smoothly.
• The candidate must apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster.
• The candidate must fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
• The candidate must measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets.
• The candidate must position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists.
• The candidate must install corner beads and wire mesh around beams to which plaster is to be applied.

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
