Distillery foreman/woman

Distillerie New Brunswick Distillery ( Bathurst, NB) is currently looking for a skilled Distillery foreman/woman. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Work schedule: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, On call, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must minimize hazards at all stages of the food production process.
• The candidate must train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
• The candidate must recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions.
• The candidate must prepare production and other reports.
• The candidate must recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• The candidate must supervise, coordinate, and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers.
• The candidate must establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units.
• The candidate must requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.

• The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
• The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
• Equivalent experience is acceptable.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
• The candidate must work in cold or refrigerated conditions.
• The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.
• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate's relocation costs should be covered by the employer, allowing the employer to contribute to the employee's relocation costs incurred in moving closer to the company's offices or other work locations as required.
• The candidate must work in a flour mill to process grain, operate milling equipment, and ensure product quality.
• The candidate should be willing to relocate and be ready to move to a new city/different city for a job.
• The candidate must work in a microbrewery to produce, monitor, and package beer and related products, ensuring quality and safety standards.
• The candidate must work in wineries to assist with production, processing, and quality control of wine products.
