Dispensing optician

Scoop Vision ( Québec, QC) is currently looking for a skilled Dispensing optician. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. We are offering a Term or contractFull time opportunity. Required shifts: Morning, Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must obtain specifications for eyeglasses and contact lenses from prescriptions prepared by an ophthalmologist or optometrist.
• The candidate must assist clients in selecting eyeglasses.
• The candidate must advise clients on the use and care of contact lenses.
• The candidate must arrange for grinding or polishing of lenses or grind and polish lenses.
• The candidate must adjust finished eyeglasses to fit clients.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
