Director of technology

BCS Technology Inc. in Toronto, ON is inviting applications for the position of Director of technology. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. The schedule involves Overtime required, Day, Shift, Flexible hours shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must assign IT projects to systems analysts, programmers and technicians.
• The candidate must coordinate IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services.
• The candidate must direct and control daily operations.
• The candidate must plan and control budget and expenditures.
• The candidate must plan and organize daily operations effectively.
• The candidate must review operational reports to assess compliance with software and hardware requirements.
• The candidate must supervise computer analysts, engineers, programmers, technicians, and other personnel.
• The candidate must supervise staff.
• The candidate must train staff to ensure proficiency in their roles.
• The candidate must establish and implement policies and procedures for information systems.
• The candidate must authorize development of product or service specifications.
• The candidate must meet with clients to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines.
• The candidate must conduct performance reviews.
• The candidate must review and adapt information regarding product innovations, competitors, and market conditions.
• The candidate must be knowledgeable in Data Science.
