Mountains and Meadows Care Group in Bridgetown, NS is seeking a self-motivated Director, human resources. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Required shifts: , 08:30 to 16:30.

Job Description

• The candidate must coordinate the activities of the HR department to ensure organizational goals are met.
• The candidate must review HR projects to assure compliance with laws and regulations.
• The candidate must establish and implement operational policies and procedures.
• The candidate must plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies.
• The candidate must manage training and development strategies.
• The candidate must oversee the analysis of employee data and information.
• The candidate must oversee the development of communication strategies.
• The candidate must oversee the preparation of reports.
• The candidate must advise senior management.
• The candidate must respond to employee questions and complaints.
• The candidate must liaise with management, union officials, and HR consultants.
• The candidate must negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers.
• The candidate must organize staff consultation and grievance procedures.
• The candidate must recruit and hire staff.
• The candidate must provide coaching.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
