Sammy's Steak & Pizza in Swan Hills, AB is inviting applications for the position of Dining establishment managing supervisor. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Shift timings include: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours, To be determined.

Job Description

• The candidate must analyze budgets to increase and maintain restaurant profits.
• The candidate must evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• The candidate must modify food preparation methods and menu prices to align with the restaurant budget.
• The candidate must monitor revenues to determine labour costs.
• The candidate must plan and organize daily operations effectively.
• The candidate must recruit staff.
• The candidate must set staff work schedules efficiently.
• The candidate must train staff to ensure proficiency in their roles.
• The candidate must balance cash, prepare balance sheets, cash reports, and related financial documentation.
• The candidate must conduct performance reviews.
• The candidate must cost products and services.
• The candidate must organize and maintain inventory.
• The candidate must negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
• The candidate must manage events.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree.
• Relevant experience considered in lieu of education.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in staff accommodation that offers live-in accommodation when an employer provides a housing offer to its employees.
• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
