Developmental service worker

Community Living Trent Highlands in Peterborough, ON is seeking a self-motivated Developmental service worker. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Position status: Permanent employment - Part time. The schedule involves Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Flexible hours shifts.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a group home to provide care, supervision, and support to residents, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.

Additional Information

Security and Safety

• The candidate must undergo a criminal record check.
• The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.
• The candidate must be able to pass a driving record check (abstract).
• The candidate must be able to pass a vulnerable sector check.

Transportation/travel information

• The candidate must have their own transportation.
• The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.
