DURHAM PATTERN & MODEL LTD is situated in Bowmanville, ON and is hiring a Designer, tool and die to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Shift timings include: Early morning, Morning, Day, Flexible hours, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must create manufacturing instructions.
• The candidate must assist in preparing design, drawings, and specifications.
• The candidate must assist in the design of moulds, tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
• The candidate must carry out a limited range of mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components, and materials.
• The candidate must be knowledgeable in Computer-Aided Design (CAD).
• The candidate must design tools, moulds, jigs, and fixtures.
• The candidate must prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings, and specifications.
• The candidate must test machines and equipment.
• The candidate must interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and blueprints.
• The candidate must read blueprints, written specifications, and production drawings.
• The candidate must read blueprints and drawings.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Equivalent professional experience accepted.
• The candidate must be dependable.

• The candidate must work in a consulting engineering company to design, plan, and oversee technical projects and infrastructure solutions.
• The candidate must work in an office.
• The candidate should work in an urban area with a high population density.
• The candidate must work in manufacturing industry to operate machinery, assemble products, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.
• The candidate should be willing to relocate and be ready to move to a new city/different city for a job.
• The candidate's relocation costs should not be covered by the employer; if the company does not provide a relocation package, you may request an advance on your earnings to cover some of your moving expenses.
