Manleys (1983) Limited is situated in Point Edward, ON and is hiring a Designer - interior design to join the team. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Work schedule: Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must estimate the cost of projects.
• The candidate must prepare detailed specifications for projects or tasks.
• The candidate must create interior spaces that reflect clients’ needs and tastes.
• The candidate must read blueprints, schematics, and drawings.
• The candidate must advise on the selection of colours, finishes, materials, lighting, furniture, and other items, considering ergonomic and occupational health standards.
• The candidate must consult with clients to determine their needs, preferences, safety requirements, and purpose of space.
• The candidate must develop detailed plans and 3-D models showing the arrangement of walls, dividers, displays, lighting, and other fixtures.
• The candidate must develop plans, elevations, cross-sections, and detailed drawings.
• The candidate must consult with clients to determine project needs.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 3 months to less than 1 year or equivalent experience.
• A candidate with experience is an asset.
