Designer - interior design

Studio Paolo Ferrari ( Toronto, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Designer - interior design. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. The schedule involves Day shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare detailed specifications for projects or tasks.
• The candidate must work in a multidisciplinary environment.
• The candidate must create interior spaces that reflect clients’ needs and tastes.
• The candidate must advise on the selection of colours, finishes, materials, lighting, furniture, and other items, considering ergonomic and occupational health standards.
• The candidate must consult with clients to determine their needs, preferences, safety requirements, and purpose of space.
• The candidate must develop detailed plans and 3-D models showing the arrangement of walls, dividers, displays, lighting, and other fixtures.
• The candidate must develop plans, elevations, cross-sections, and detailed drawings.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree.
• The candidate must have 3 to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
