Demolition worker

Betrieb Construction ( Surrey, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Demolition worker. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Required shifts: Overtime required, Morning, Day, Weekend, On call, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must load, unload, and transport construction materials.
• The candidate must erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
• The candidate must mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt accurately.
• The candidate must assist the medical examiner in charge.
• The candidate must assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
• The candidate must level earth to meet fine grade specifications.
• The candidate must assist in demolishing buildings.
• The candidate must clean and pile salvaged materials.
• The candidate must perform routine maintenance work.
• The candidate must clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
• The candidate must remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
• The candidate must tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
• The candidate must direct traffic at or near construction sites.

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
