Delivery driver

DANFOSS COURIERS in Ladysmith, BC is inviting applications for the position of Delivery driver. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. The schedule involves Overtime required, Weekend, To be determined shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand.
• The candidate must operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver items and products.
• The candidate must receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• The candidate must keep a record of items received and delivered.
• The candidate must prepare, package, and restock goods.
• The candidate must load and unload goods efficiently.
• The candidate must record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle operation.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a courier company to manage deliveries, coordinate logistics, and ensure timely transport of packages.
