Ashley Furniture Home Store in Dartmouth, NS is seeking a self-motivated Delivery driver. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Flexible availability required for: Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver items and products.
• The candidate must demonstrate professionalism in customer service.
• The candidate must assemble, install, and set up merchandise/products.
• The candidate must load and unload goods efficiently.
• The candidate must use maps and other trip planning aids.
• The candidate must perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle operation.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• No experience required. The employer will provide training to the selected candidate.
• The candidate must be able to lift more than 45 kg (100 lbs).
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
