Delicatessen clerk - retail

Marché St-Pierre et fils in Thetford Mines, QC is inviting applications for the position of Delicatessen clerk - retail. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment - Part time position. Required shifts: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must provide advice regarding merchandise to customers.
• The candidate must advertise and/or promote products, sales, or services.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must assist in the display of merchandise.
• The candidate must greet customers and discuss the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental, or lease.
• The candidate must prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• A candidate with experience is an asset.

Work Site Environment

• The work environment is smoke-free.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a supermarket/grocery store self-service shop offering a wide variety of food, beverages, and household products, organized into sections.
