Deli cook - supermarket

Vessel Meats Inc ( Dartmouth, NS) is currently looking for a skilled Deli cook - supermarket. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Work schedule: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate the cash register accurately.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must assist in the display of merchandise.
• The candidate must slice cooked meats.
• The candidate must perform food preparation.
• The candidate must have food safety and handling skills.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must have 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be energetic.
• The candidate must be goal-oriented.
• The candidate must be hardworking.
• The candidate must demonstrate integrity.
• The candidate must maintain a positive attitude.
• The candidate must be a quick learner.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a specialty shop.
• The candidate must work in a butcher shop to process, prepare, and handle meat products while maintaining hygiene and safety standards.
