centre de la petite enfance mamik is situated in Alma, QC and is hiring a Daycare teacher to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
• The candidate must maintain daycare equipment.
• The candidate must lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest.
• The candidate must encourage children to express creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activities.
• The candidate must guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
• The candidate must observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioural problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
• The candidate must plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
