Job Description

• The candidate must collect data to identify areas for improvement within the organization’s IT infrastructure.
• The candidate must develop and implement a strategic blueprint for deploying databases within the organization.
• The candidate must develop and maintain computer databases.
• The candidate must document reporting needs, queries, logic, results, and recommendations to other information systems professionals.
• The candidate must enact measures to ensure unauthorized users cannot access data.
• The candidate must liaise with staff on data requirements, collection, and availability.
• The candidate must test data models and database management systems.
• The candidate must design and develop databases.
• The candidate must operate database management systems to analyze data.
• The candidate must develop and implement data administration policies, standards, and models.
• The candidate must research and document data requirements, data collection, administration policy, and data access rules.
