Dance instructor

Feng Dance School is situated in Ottawa, ON and is hiring a Dance instructor to join the team. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This role offers Seasonal employment - Part time employment. The schedule involves Evening, Weekend shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare dance students for auditions and performances.
• The candidate must teach dance techniques and artistic interpretation.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be creative.
• The candidate must maintain a positive attitude.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
• The candidate must work in a community centre to organize programs, manage facilities, and engage with community members.
• The candidate must work in a dance academy or school to teach, choreograph, and supervise dance instruction and performances.
• The applicant should be able to work in a school or educational institution/establishment comprising establishments that provide instruction and training in various subjects.
