Fuhrhop Farms Ltd. is situated in Wetaskiwin, AB and is hiring a Dairy herdsperson to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Work schedule: Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must handle animals.
• The candidate must monitor animal health.
• The candidate must feed and tend animals.
• The candidate must formulate feeding programs.
• The candidate must maintain livestock performance records.
• The candidate must milk cows.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must have 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
