Jockbrae Farms Ltd in Carleton Place, ON is seeking a self-motivated Dairy farm labourer. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Work schedule: Early morning, Day, Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must clear fields of wood and stones.
• The candidate must handle animals.
• The candidate must monitor the calving process.
• The candidate must monitor animal health.
• The candidate must perform livestock feeding.
• The candidate must feed and tend animals.
• The candidate must clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens.
• The candidate must perform general farm duties.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.
• The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.
• The candidate must work in wet or damp conditions.
• The candidate must work in all weather conditions.
