Crop farm labourer - harvesting

DVD FARMS LIMITED is situated in Leamington, ON and is hiring a Crop farm labourer - harvesting to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Seasonal employment or Full time. Shift timings include: Day. This position has been approved by the LMIA.

Job Description

• The candidate must clean crops effectively.
• The candidate must perform greenhouse cleaning.
• The candidate will be responsible for harvesting vegetables by hand.
• The candidate must harvest seedlings.
• The candidate must load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, farm produce, livestock, and poultry.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• No experience required. The employer will provide training to the selected candidate.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 45 kg (100 lbs).

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must work in wet or damp conditions.
• The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.
• The candidate must work in all weather conditions.
• The candidate must work in dirty environments.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
