Crop farm labourer - harvesting

Monsere Farms Ltd ( Tillsonburg, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Crop farm labourer - harvesting. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Position status: Seasonal employment or Full time. The schedule involves Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, On call shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate will be responsible for harvesting vegetables by hand.
• The candidate must pick row and orchard crops.
• The candidate must load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, farm produce, livestock, and poultry.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• No experience required. The employer will provide training to the selected candidate.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be reliable.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
