Job Description
- The candidate must demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to cooking staff.
- The candidate must supervise activities of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers.
- The candidate must create new recipes.
- The candidate must supervise cooks and other kitchen staff.
- The candidate must prepare and cook meals or specialty foods.
- The candidate must requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed.
- The candidate must plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities of several restaurants.
- The candidate must supervise activities of sous-chefs, specialist chefs, chefs, and cooks.
- The candidate must train staff in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
Job Requirements
- The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
- The candidate must hold a Registered Apprenticeship certificate.
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
