This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This role offers Permanent employment - Part time employment. Flexible availability required for: Weekend, To be determined.

Job Description

• The candidate must plan menus and estimate food requirements for preparation.
• The candidate must requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed.
• The candidate must prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and food items.
• The candidate must prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
• The candidate must prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef.
• The candidate must manage kitchen operations.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
• Relevant experience considered in lieu of education.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in chronic or long-term care facilities to provide care, support residents’ health, and assist staff.
