Chuck's Roadhouse Bar & Grill Cambridge is situated in Cambridge, ON and is hiring a Cook to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment - Part time leading to full time. Shift timings include: Morning, Shift, On call.

Job Description

• The candidate must requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed.
• The candidate must prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and food items.
• The candidate must inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
• The candidate must train staff in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
• The candidate must order supplies and equipment.
• The candidate must supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
• The candidate must maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
• The candidate must clean kitchen and work areas.
• The candidate must manage kitchen operations.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in restaurants that are generally fast-paced and require the utmost efficiency.
