Mr Mikes Steakhouse Casual in Stony Plain, AB is inviting applications for the position of Cook. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Work schedule: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and food items.
• The candidate must prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
• The candidate must prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef.
• The candidate must inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
• The candidate must supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
• The candidate must maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
• The candidate must clean kitchen and work areas.
• The candidate must manage kitchen operations.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
