Boucherie Alimentation Idéale ( Saint-Georges, QC) is currently looking for a skilled Cook. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Required shifts: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed.
• The candidate must prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and food items.
• The candidate must train staff in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
• The candidate must maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
• The candidate must clean kitchen and work areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 3 months to less than 1 year.
• The ideal candidate must have more than 5 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must have strong time management skills.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a supermarket/grocery store self-service shop offering a wide variety of food, beverages, and household products, organized into sections.
