Gateway Pizza & Curry House in Abbotsford, BC is inviting applications for the position of Cook. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Flexible availability required for: To be determined.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and food items.
• The candidate must train staff in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
• The candidate must supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
• The candidate must maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
• The candidate must clean kitchen and work areas.
• The candidate must manage kitchen operations.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in restaurants that are generally fast-paced and require the utmost efficiency.
• The candidate should be willing to relocate and be ready to move to a new city/different city for a job.
• The candidate's relocation costs should be covered by the employer, allowing the employer to contribute to the employee's relocation costs incurred in moving closer to the company's offices or other work locations as required.
