Jay Umiya Corporation Ltd is situated in Stonewall, MB and is hiring a Cook to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Required shifts: Overtime required, Day, Weekend, Flexible hours, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must coordinate special events.
• The candidate must determine appropriate food portion sizes and associated costs.
• The candidate must plan menus and estimate food requirements for preparation.
• The candidate must requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed.
• The candidate must prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and food items.
• The candidate must inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
• The candidate must order supplies and equipment.
• The candidate must clean kitchen and work areas.
• The candidate must manage kitchen operations.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Equivalent experience is acceptable.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must have strong time management skills.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in restaurants that are generally fast-paced and require the utmost efficiency.
