Copperhouse Eatery + Lounge in Yellowknife, NT is seeking a self-motivated Cook. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Day, Night, Weekend shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must determine appropriate food portion sizes and associated costs.
• The candidate must requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed.
• The candidate must prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and food items.
• The candidate must prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
• The candidate must prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef.
• The candidate must clean kitchen and work areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks frequently.
• The candidate should be willing to work under pressure.
