Timber Trails Retirement Residence in Madoc, ON is seeking a self-motivated Cook. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Required shifts: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must plan menus and estimate food requirements for preparation.
• The candidate must prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and food items.
• The candidate must clean kitchen and work areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks frequently.
• The candidate should be willing to work under pressure.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
• The candidate must work in a retirement home to provide care, support daily activities, and promote residents’ wellbeing.
