Desh Punjab Sweets & Restaurant Ltd. in Surrey, BC is seeking a self-motivated Cook. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Required shifts: Early morning, Morning, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must plan menus and estimate food requirements for preparation.
• The candidate must prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and food items.
• The candidate must train staff in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
• The candidate must order supplies and equipment.
• The candidate must maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
• The candidate must clean kitchen and work areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks frequently.
• The candidate should be willing to work under pressure.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in restaurants that are generally fast-paced and require the utmost efficiency.
