Now hiring: Cook, ethnic foods at Dosa Crepe Cafe in Kelowna, BC. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Required shifts: Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and food items.
• The candidate must prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
• The candidate must inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
• The candidate must train staff in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
• The candidate must order supplies and equipment.
• The candidate must maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
• The candidate must clean kitchen and work areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in restaurants that are generally fast-paced and require the utmost efficiency.
• The candidate should work in a café operates more like a coffee shop than a traditional breakroom, emphasized with decorations such as bar stools and other lounge furniture.
