Deer Lake Irving ( Deer Lake, NL) is currently looking for a skilled Cook. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Required shifts: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and food items.
• The candidate must prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
• The candidate must inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
• The candidate must clean kitchen and work areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 3 months to less than 1 year.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must be reliable.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in restaurants that are generally fast-paced and require the utmost efficiency.
