Ben & Florentine in Chicoutimi, QC is seeking a self-motivated Cook. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Required shifts: Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend, , 06:00 to 15:00.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and food items.
• The candidate must train staff in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
• The candidate must order supplies and equipment.
• The candidate must supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
• The candidate must maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
• The candidate must clean kitchen and work areas.
• The candidate must manage kitchen operations.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must have 3 to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in restaurants that are generally fast-paced and require the utmost efficiency.
