Dépanneur Cotton inc in Gaspé, QC is inviting applications for the position of Convenience store cashier. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment - Part time opportunity. Flexible availability required for: Day, Evening, Weekend, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate the cash register accurately.
• The candidate must process money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments.
• The candidate must scan items.
• The candidate must receive payment for goods or services.
• The candidate must stock shelves and clean counter areas.
• The candidate must greet customers.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
• The candidate must perform opening and closing activities.
• The candidate must perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping floors.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
