Beacon Utility Contractors Limited ( Maple, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Contractors estimator. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Required shifts: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs.
• The candidate must read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
• The candidate must create and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bid forms.
• The candidate must monitor and adjust contract expenditures.
• The candidate must prepare and maintain a directory of supplies and trade contractors.
• The candidate must tender contracts.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be able to meet tight deadlines.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in estimating; precise time estimates help you plan and parse your work — as a result, you manage your time and errands properly.
