Construction labourer

Platinum Concrete Forming Inc. in Tillsonburg, ON is inviting applications for the position of Construction labourer. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Position status: Seasonal employment or Full time. Shift timings include: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must load, unload, and transport construction materials.
• The candidate must erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
• The candidate must mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt accurately.
• The candidate must remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be hardworking.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate must be able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks frequently.
• The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
• The candidate must have excellent hand-eye coordination.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate will be required to work in confined spaces.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
