Construction labourer

Cornerstone Plumbing and Handyman Services Inc is situated in Rosetown, SK and is hiring a Construction labourer to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. The schedule involves Day, Evening, Weekend, On call, Flexible hours shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must load, unload, and transport construction materials.
• The candidate must assist in demolishing buildings.
• The candidate must remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
• The candidate must direct traffic at or near construction sites.
• The candidate must utilize hand and power tools.
• The candidate must select appropriate paint or mix paints.
• The candidate must prepare floors for installations.
• The candidate must prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles, or other masonry units.
• The candidate must perform other labouring and elemental activities.
• The candidate must clean, chip, and paint deck surfaces.
• The candidate must assist skilled tradespersons.
• The candidate must prepare wall and ceiling layouts.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be hardworking.
• The candidate should be willing to work under pressure.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
