Construction labourer

Fongix Expert en vide Sanitaire 149 rue St-Pierre nord, Joliette ( Joliette, QC) is currently looking for a skilled Construction labourer. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This is a Seasonal employment or Full time position. Required shifts: Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must load, unload, and transport construction materials.
• The candidate must erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
• The candidate must mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt accurately.
• The candidate must assist in demolishing buildings.
• The candidate must clean and pile salvaged materials.
• The candidate must level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specifications.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in construction trades and crafts, including bricklaying, stonemasonry, carpentry, joinery, demolition, electrical work, painting and decorating, plumbing, scaffolding, steeple jacking, and wall and floor work.
