Construction helper

Alpha Elite Construction Ltd. is situated in Langford, BC and is hiring a Construction helper to join the team. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Shift timings include: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must load, unload, and transport construction materials.
• The candidate must mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt accurately.
• The candidate must assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
• The candidate must pave and rake asphalt.
• The candidate must clean and pile salvaged materials.
• The candidate must clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
• The candidate must remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
• The candidate must direct traffic at or near construction sites.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• A candidate with experience is an asset.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be hardworking.

Work Site Environment

• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.

• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
• The candidate must work on a construction site.
